Interviews and Pacentro, Italia

Today was filled with more interviews. There seems to be some really great work done in terms of the variety of interviews and points of view for the documentary. A good day of work.

There is an interesting part of this trip that has not been discussed, and that is popular culture. Most people are aware of Michael Jackson's passing. Even in these small hill top towns, the people are curious to talk about it. Maybe by talking to American's they will better understand the meaning or the draw of the popular culture? Not sure, but it was a topic discussed.

Of course today, there was another big event on everyone's mind the G8 Summit. The group is about an hour from the event and it has been on most people's mind. Most people are asking Carmella what she thinks about Obama. There is a curiosity there and they want to know our world just as we long to know their world.
