A Full Day

Breakfast begins our day, then we are off promptly at 9:00 am.   RAFFAELE met us in the lobby to begin our day in Rapallo.   The area we arrive at is a strictly pedestrian, no cars and people walking everywhere.  We are met by fish mongers, bakers, vegetable vendors etc.  These pictures below are what greeted us in the morning... even Cleveland Indians were part of our morning welcome!

After our morning market stroll, we start the walking tour to Santa Margarita.  Admiring the sights long the way, we stop here and there.  In Santa Magarita we stop for lunch.  In the city center is where our lunch destination is and with such wonderful fresh artichokes!

Now we finally sit for lunch where we have foccacia a thin layer of dough filled with stracino cheese and the another with stracino cheese and tomato sauce.
