Ah the sites, sounds and smells of Italia, welcome us as we arrive. The 4 hour drive to Orsara from Rome, as one of fond appreciation. The time passed quickly, as we took in the vistas full of harvest and plenty.
Upon our arrival of our new home for the next week, we were greeted with such affection and embraces. The friends and family members came out to welcome us. It was fun to see the new haircuts, and catching up to see what has transpired over the course of the last year. Truly this is a second home in many ways and the joy to share this with our customers is always such a gift.
We enjoyed the views from the terrace and enjoyed bruschetta, antipasti and welcome drinks. Of course our palettes were satisfied beyond belief. Simple flavors always satisfy.
Room assignments were made and we prepared for dinner. For now we take in the Italian air... gaze out over the countryside and settle into the Italian Lifestyle!
