When our world seems as if it is falling apart at the seems, there are kind gestures along the way to remind us of hope and promise. Yesterday La Campagna received a hand written thank you from Lydia Bastianich. She wanted to thank us for featuring her family vineyard this past week for our Wine Tasting.
As this was an elegant, but simple note, it points to a time when people connected and were sincere. We appreciate her acknowledgment and wanted to share this small touch with you. Creating the Family Feeling of welcome and support, is what Italian's are at heart.
We also wish to thank all the participants of the wine tasting. Each and every person thoroughly enjoyed the wines and recipes from the Bastianich family. We served a packed house and enjoyed ourselves immensely. What a wonderful evening, family, friends, food, wine and tradition.
